October means digging back into the movie tribute patches, and this year we're leading with the finish that actually does something most patches can't: holographic. These three aren't flat prints or standard embroidery — they shift and catch light differently depending on the angle, while still being a permanent, commercial heat-press application, same durability as any patch we build. A little Tinseltown shine for the fall lineup.

The A-Team

The A-Team Trucker Hat carries a holographic vegan leather patch styled after the show's classic stenciled logo, bullet-hole graphic accents worked right into the lettering. Set on a black, white, and red Richardson 112, it reads as a clean tribute from across the room and genuinely shifts color up close.

The Goonies

The Goonies Never Say Die Trucker Hat carries a square holographic patch built around the film's skull-and-crossed-cutlasses treasure map motif, complete with "Astoria, Oregon" and "Never Say Die" worked into the design. Set on a black and white Richardson 112, it's for anyone who still believes it's "our time, our time down here."

Smokey and the Bandit

The Smokey and the Bandit Trucker Hat puts a rectangular holographic patch — bold script lettering and a lightning bolt slashing through the design — on a caramel and black Richardson 112 rope trucker. East bound and down.

Why Holographic Is Different

A flat embroidered or printed patch looks the same no matter where you're standing. A holographic patch doesn't — tilt your head and the design catches light differently, which is exactly what gives these three a little more presence than a standard tribute patch. It's still handcrafted and heat-pressed in our Perkinston, Mississippi workshop like everything else we make; the material is just built to move.
